Cemented Achromatic Lenses
Cemented Achromatic Lenses are designed to minimize chromatic aberration and improve focusing accuracy by combining optical glass materials with different dispersion properties. A typical cemented achromatic lens consists of a positive crown glass element and a negative flint glass element bonded together with optical adhesive.
Compared with single lenses, cemented achromatic lenses provide better color correction, sharper images, and more stable optical performance. They are suitable for applications that require accurate imaging, beam focusing, collimation, and broadband transmission.
