If you need a higher transmittance in the ultraviolet band or a lower coefficient of thermal expansion, you can choose a UV fused silica right-angle Prism. Ultraviolet grade fused silica has high transmittance in deep ultraviolet and almost no laser-induced fluorescence (measured at 193 nm), so it is ideal for applications from ultraviolet to near infrared. For a given wavelength, the refractive index of UV fused silica is smaller than that of N-BK7.
